SMSC & PSHE Learning at Foster's

At Foster's, we believe that it is vitally important that our children learn to be numerate and literate, but also that they are rounded and well-informed citizens. Therefore, our curriculum and particular events throughout the year are designed to give each child a wealth of experiences linked to Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural (SMSC) learning.

In addition, while Physical, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE)  is not currently a mandatory subject on the national curriculum, we believe that thorough learning in these areas can make a huge difference in supporting a child's broader learning and can start to prepare them to be up-standing citizens who understand and live-out modern British Values.
